The launching and fundraising function will take place at Budondo,Buyala Primary School play ground,Jinja City on the 10th of May 2024 starting from 9:00 am.Many important invited guests have confirmed the attendance.
Gasemba Christian children’s Foundation is a fully registered NGO (No. INDR16359564NB) which started in 2020 as a charity outreach in Kabowa-kampala- jinja city, Uganda.
It was started by Dr. Gasemba Timothy after College where he attained his bachelors in clinical medicine and community health. While living in the village with local communities, He saw hunger, increasing community illnesses but also saw thirst, thirst for knowledge, thirst for a better tomorrow, thirst to lift themselves out of gripping poverty.
He then developed the idea to start up the foundation to overcome the above challenges, Gasemba Christian children’s foundation (GCCF).
To see Ugandan youth and children with special needs with a restored sense of hardworkingness, innovativeness, morality and commitment to being productive and resourceful in society and the ability to live comfortable self-reliant lives. We believe this is God’s vision for us.
To initiate holistic development Programs among children with special needs, youths and women by promoting quality and developmental impact oriented training in; education and research , entrepreneurship training, mentorship, guidance and counseling, personal growth and leadership development and information communication technology so as to meet the changing needs of the youths and society at large for suitable development.
People with physical disabilities in many rural regions of Uganda often live in isolation and lack access to basic medical services. Moreover,rural population often don’t have resources to help disabled participate in society. This results in many of them spending a lot of time on their own.
To address this, GCCF wanted to establish a community center where disable could receive the much needed attention, physical therapy and medical check up
